Glensound has been designing and manufacturing bespoke audio solutions for debating chambers and committee rooms since the late 1980s. Our expertise has been honed over the years and now culminates in the new European Committee Room and Main Chamber solution:

Streamline parliamentary proceedings and organizational meetings with our state-of the-art audio & control system. Designed for seamless integration and unparalleled performance, our solution offers advanced conferencing capabilities, remote participation options, and customizable configurations to meet the unique needs of
your environment.

All the equipment in the PBS system can be mixed and matched to build a system that meets your requirements. However our systems have been designed to provide the facilities for the following three similar but distinctly different scenarios:

1) SEATED MAIN CHAMBER
In this scenario every delegate has their own microphone/ loudspeaker/ voting keys
etc. either free standing on, or built into the desk. Importantly selection of whom is
speaking and the turning on/ off of microphones is done in an organised fashion and
the Chairperson or an operator will manually control this.
2) AD HOC MAIN CHAMBER
Think of the Westminster Parliament in England. Delegates are packed into benches
and therefore many microphones are suspended from above and hundreds of
loudspeakers are discreetly built into the backs of the benches. Selection of
microphone on/ off is carried out by an operator.
3) COMMITTEE ROOM
The main difference between our concept of a Committee Room and Main Chamber is
that a Committee Room is generally a more reserved environment where the
delegates discuss their agendas in a civilized manor. This means microphone selection
can be performed completely automatically by our system therefore eliminating the cost
of an in room operator. However both in room and off site operators can be assigned if needed.
