Glensound celebrates its diamond anniversary at NAB Show

Booth C5311, NAB Show, Las Vegas, 19 – 22 April, 2026

60 years of audio innovation, driven by the people who use it

Glensound returns to the 2026 NAB Show (Booth C5311, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center, 19–22 April) in its 60th anniversary year, bringing a range of networked audio solutions spanning broadcast, live events, esports and commercial audio. The company specialises in Dante, Ravenna, Milan (AVB), AES67 and SMPTE ST2110-30, building compact, practical units designed for the demands of professional production.

A major feature at NAB is the Parliamentary Broadcast System (PBS). Drawing on more than 35 years of designing audio solutions for parliaments and legislatures, Glensound has built a Dante-based platform that covers main chambers and committee rooms, whether seated, ad hoc or conference-style. PBS delivers clarity, with independent clean feeds for broadcast, recording and sound reinforcement, with voting, delegate management, camera control and logging all integrated into a single software package. The system is modular and built with multiple redundant infrastructures, making it adaptable to any parliament, government body or courtroom without compromising reliability.

The DARK family of throwdown interfaces continues to expand. These compact, PoE-powered appliances bring audio into fibre or copper Dante networks wherever I/O is needed. The DARK22M is a two-in (mic/line), two-out device, adding return or confidence feeds to commentary or interview positions. Gain control is available on the box, via the GlenController app, or over the network using UDP. It also functions as a high-performance USB/analogue and USB/Dante audio interface.

Glensound's first Milan AVB products make their NAB debut, the AoIP4O and AoIP4I. Both are compact analogue-to-network interfaces. The AoIP4O provides four XLR analogue outputs from Milan; the AoIP4I has four XLR analogue inputs to Milan. Both are PoE-powered or can run from a DC power brick.

The Beatrice R12 MkII is the first of the second generation of Beatrice intercoms. Multiple display screens show source and destination labels drawn directly from Dante Controller, alongside status information. A five-way lever control on each of the 12 channels provides multi-function talk and listen options and immediate level adjustment. New audio dynamic functions make it the most complete unit of its type in the Glensound range.

To mark the diamond anniversary, Glensound has created the GTM Diamond, a limited-edition run of just 60 units. Each one features over 4,000 original Swarovski crystals, hand-placed to create a visually striking centrepiece for any esports tournament. Beyond its appearance, the GTM Diamond delivers the full range of functions required for esports production, gamer interfacing, intercom mixing, and remote control by tournament engineers. Separate modes support coaches, referees and arena announcers. A stripped-down version with no direct top-panel controls is also available for system integrators, while the standard GTM remains available alongside it.

"NAB has always been the most important show in our calendar, and this year is no different," said Marc Wilson, managing director of Glensound. “North America has been a strong market for us for decades, and the relationships we've built here have directly shaped many of the products on our booth. Sixty years in, that approach hasn't changed, and there's no better place than NAB to have those conversations about what the industry needs next.”
