The Fader 6 is a six channel mixer giving full mixed output control to the commentators using Penny and Giles 60mm faders. This unit was originally designed for talkSPORT. 

Mic Inputs
The unit has six mic inputs all with a 48V phantom power option. High quality compressor/limited can be global activated via the rear panel on/off switch.

Inputs 1 and 2 are part of a 6 pin XLR headset connection.  Inputs 3-6 are on 3 pin XLR.

Channel Levels
Each position offers full control of the channels audio output via the gain control and final levels can be adjusted via the corresponding Penny and Giles 60mm fader. The final mixed output is therefore controlled by the levels set by the commentators. 

Mixed Output
The unit has 7 identical mixed outputs on electronically balanced XLR. The 7 LED PPM provides monitoring of the seventh mixed output. 

Monitoring
Position 1 and 2 provides monitoring via the 6 pin headset connection.  Positions 3-7 have 6.35mm jacks for headphone output for monitoring. An internal switch (factory set configuration option) can be set to either monitoring the sidetone or the mixed output of all seven positions. 

Two common monitoring sources are available with left ear/ both/right ear switching on electronically balanced XLR. Each position can set individual levels for a unique headphone mix using the rotary level controls on the front panel.

On Air Button
Each channel has a red ‘on-air’ button which can be configured to on/off or momentary off. 

Power
Power is obtained via an internal 110-230V AC supply.
